We Offer Well-Rounded Play Therapy Training
1. Play Therapy Supervision
We provide excellent individual and group supervision by a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S). Our Director, Bridgette Mitchell Sanders has been a supervisor and trainer for play therapists and licensed professionals for 25 years. She is very familiar with the supervision and training requirements to become a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) or School-based Registered Play Therapist (SB-RPT)
2. Direct Play Therapy Experience
If you are not able to practice play therapy at your place of employment and you need play therapy experience for your credential, you are welcome to apply to work part-time in our private practice to gain hours towards your credential. You must still participate in supervision with our agency. Opportunities may include telehealth and in-person services with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, adolescents and groups. We work with clients of all ages and will give you the opportunity to develop well-rounded play therapy skills. Staff interested in attending play therapy workshops can do so for discounted workshop fees.
3. Discounted Play Therapy Workshops
Our parent organization, Play Therapy Educational Services is approved by the Association for Play Therapy (APT) to provide play therapy education and training to mental health professionals interested in becoming credentialed Registered Play Therapists (RPT) through APT. APT approved provider #: 02-122. Staff will have access to discounted play therapy workshops. Play Therapy Educational Services, Inc. maintains responsibility for this program/courses and its content. Staff interested in attending play therapy workshops can do so for discounted workshop fees.
